12 Types of LPs

I wrote the original super short piece here. But that this content may be valuable to the folks here as well.

TL;DR: When I was in IR, I found it helpful to segment the types of LPs I was talking to into 12 categories. Also, because as much as I understood “If you know one family office, you only know one,” some part of me didn’t like that statement. It felt like a thought terminating cliche. Like “It is what it is.” "Or “Agree to disagree.”
